Day of the Book & Rose "Sant Jordi"

Join us for “El dia del llibre i la rosa,” a Catalan literary tradition where people exchange books and roses. In 1996 UNESCO declared this tradition the International Day of the Book and Authors’ Rights.

Members of the Casal Català d’Oregon will host the event with music and readings of Catalan authors & other nationalities

People are invited to bring their favorite poems to read. Participants will be given Roses, poetry books, and books for children.
